ISOLATE YOURSELVES IN NATURE, March 29, 2020

We understand the need for families, especially those with young children, to have their own garden and private outdoors space during the coming weeks and months while isolating from COVID-19. Starting now we are ready to support our international urban clients temporarily relocate to a dream home somewhere in the countryside, outside the big cities they live in, with or without pre-isolated live-in staff.

 

As part of our safety protocols this service is available only to families who will have been symptom-free and quarantined in their homes for 14 days prior to their relocation. Contact us for more details. Be safe, #stayhome.

NEW FLEXIBLE BOOKING POLICY, March 12, 2020

We've got your back. Reschedule any bookings placed from today onward with our new flexible booking policy.

 

In response to recent travel concerns relating to the outbreak of the Novel-Coronavirus, we recognise the need for flexibility has never been so great. That's why we are introducing booking flexibility for all bookings placed from today to ensure you are comfortable and no added stress comes from travel uncertainty when it comes to us.

 

With the majority of partners (e.g. Hotels) on board with this approach we will do our best to ensure full flexibility for all previously booked travel as well.

OFFSETTING OUR CLIENT' CARBON FOOTPRINT, October 1, 2019

We feel responsible for doing what we can about the environment. While no emission can be retracted we have turned to the second best option, offsetting.

 

Since October 2020 we partner with various organisations (e.g. www.carbonfootprint.com) to calculate our client's carbon footprint (including flights) and donate part of our revenues towards certified carbon offsetting projects worldwide across three verticals:

 

1. Community benefiting (e.g. efficient cook stoves, water boreholes rehabilitation)

2. Renewable energy

3. Tree planting

We hope to inspire our clients to be environmentally conscious when travelling, leave no trace behind, use less plastic, get involved in the local communities and extend their trips as possible to make those long haul flights worth while. 

​

We hope to inspire our partners to adopt similar measures and work to develop their surrounding communities (e.g. when installing a new water filtration system for their hotels why not donating one to their community as well). We know most of them act accordingly, and we hand pick them for this reason. However this recommendation is more important than ever when referring to luxury hotels in exotic areas.
